Hello! My name is Yeojin Chae, Korean language coach and the founder of Moi Korean Speaking Club.
I have been teaching Korean since 2017 at university language institutions, overseas, and online. To summarize my Korean language education experience, it is ‘a journey to make a pleasant class’. If learners find studying Korean interesting, it is only a matter of time before they improve.
Moi Korean Speaking Club will try our best to give you good motivation and feel the joy of learning!

Why we created this space, Moi Korean Speaking Club?
From 2018 to 2020, I taught Korean in Lithuania in Europe. I was teaching in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. One day, I was asked to teach Korean at a library in a small town called Moletai.
I accepted the request thinking it would be a good experience, and that’s how I met around 15 students at the library. In fact, I was a little surprised to see 15 people, from 10-year-olds to elderly people in their 60’s, gathered to learn Korean in a small town of only 6,000 people.
The students said that it is not easy to commute to the capital to learn Korean, but they are very eager to learn. Considering that Korean language institutions are usually in the capital or big cities, I thought that these students would exist in many countries around the world. I thought that I should create an online educational opportunity to learn Korean regardless of where they live.
Since then, I have only focused on providing interesting and effective online Korean classes for the past a few years. And while I’ve been teaching, I’ve learned that many people who choose online classes often have tight work schedules or are raising young children. So I decided to make it a place where they could come at a flexible time according to their schedule and situation.
It’s just the beginning, but we’re going to create a space like an online home where students can practice speaking comfortably with their study mates.
