Moi Korean Story Class offers an engaging and thoughtfully structured approach to learning Korean through storytelling.

The teacher is extremely kind and has a wonderful sense of humor, which makes every class even more enjoyable. The explanations are clear and accessible, even for beginners.
What I especially appreciate is that we don’t only practice reading, listening, and vocabulary.
There are more challenging tasks as well —particularly retelling the story, which is the most difficult part for me, speaking. Still, these challenges are incredibly effective and help me grow step by step even if I'm sweat a lot during this part.

I have studied Korean primarily through self study in the past and found that because I had limited opportunities to speak Korean, there was a big gap between what I could understand in written text versus my speaking ability.
This class is structured such that students listen to a cute and engaging story, translate the story and then answer questions in Korean about things that happened in the story. There is plenty of speaking practice during the session and 여진 선생님 is super encouraging and patient, creating a safe and warm environment with many opportunities to speak in Korean. She also finds ways to provide explanations in Korean so that we can practice our comprehension skills and get used to thinking in Korean.
I have taken this class for several months now and I feel much more confident when I speak and listen to spoken Korean - I always look forward to this class each week both for the fun and challenge it provides!

I really love the MOI Story method.
Here’s why: In other classes, the emphasis is on learning to repeat a dialogue perfectly. But as someone who cannot memorize things immediately, I was always very nervous when it was my turn to speak. MOI classes are different. We work through fun dialogues and helpful exercises, but the last part of the class is just about trying to say the lines, however we can, as best we can. So it’s rarely perfect … but that’s okay! The goal is communication; perfection can come later, right? So if you’re like me, this is the class for you. Highly recommended.

I really enjoy the Story Class, it's the only thing I look forward to at the start of the week! The story class are very useful for daily conversations and I learn new vocabularies each time and are able to use them.
The class is fun and interesting, sometimes it is challenging when we re-tell the story but it is also a very good way to learn and practice speaking.
The class is also well structured and engaging, the teacher is also very patient in letting us think and speak slowly so there is no pressure if we made a mistake! Overall, I think this makes learning Korean more fun 🙂

I joined Moi Korean Speaking Club almost 6 months back. I started with the Intermediate B1 level. The classes are very well-structured, and I had so much practice speaking!!
Firstly, I believe these classes really help in building your Korean vocabulary and second it really boosts your confidence to speak in Korean. Both the teaching material and the class discussions are useful for everyday life.
I also enjoy the fact that the teacher explains everything in Korean and only uses English if we fail to understand.
